An electronic business card.
A vCard is an electronic business card. It contains all of your contact information and can be added to an email address book by clicking a button.
Here's how you get one. Go to getvcard.com. Fill out the form. They'll give you a web address for the vCard that you can put into your emails or onto your website or online resume. It's free.
Make It Better
My vCard address at getvcard.com is:
http://getvcard.com/getvcard.asp?UID=Gg5NdEn
If you click that address it will take you to my vCard on getvcard.com.
However, if I add the word "do" to this address, just before the second appearance of "getvcard", the vCard will open up right here on this site. Check it out below.

The Marketing Headhunter has a very good posting on vCards here.
Insert Your Resume
The vCard has a tab opens an area for plain text notes. I've never seen it done but there is no reason why you could not use that spot to insert your resume into your vCard as well.
Attach A vCard To Your Email
You can also create a vCard that is attached to every email with a little icon that looks like a Rolodex card. Here's how.
