Title: Account Manager, Flavours and Fragrances
Reports To: Business Unit Sales Director

The company is going through major expansion
• In Canada we need reps for Quebec, Ontario and Western Canada
• In the USA there are a number of positions across the country.
• Creation, development, execution of account strategies, plans,
forecasts for assigned accounts
• Develop long-term partnerships with selected accounts -- to insure
long term growth
Major Duties:
• Work on assigned accounts.
• Deliver new product wins, sales, and margin
• Develop, execute account sales plans that outline customer strategies,
requirements, sales forecasts, customer satisfaction thresholds
• Match sales plan to capacity to deliver. (working with technical and
operations personnel)
• Work with other departments -- develop and implement quarterly tactical plans
• Represent company in Flavor industry and professional organizations.
• Strengthen customer relations through: proactive communication,
customer responsiveness and satisfaction strategic alliances.
• Implement annual price increases
• Forecast use of current and upcoming products to provide info for
raw materials and production scheduling
• 20% of time is spent planning sales calls and project requests.
• Support budget process
• Implement business unit sales strategies.
Education
• Minimum BS or BA. • Advanced degree preferred. • Food Science preferred.
Experience
• Minimum 5 years food ingredient sales experience - flavours preferred
Supervision - Weekly contact and follow-up

• External: Customer, Trade Associations, Conventions.
