This is a senior sales position calling on major telcos in Canada.
Selling a broad range of solutions from hardware to software to enterprise level systems.
The company - a leader in its field (for real) - is looking for someone who has sold telecom access products into the major telcos, especially Bell Canada.
The position reports to a VP and he's looking for a strategic thinker. Someone who can lay out goals and a plan for growing the business.
Work with designated accounts.
Accountable for strategy, relationships and profitability.
Expand the accounts. Ensure revenue and margin targets are met.
Work closely with Professional Services Team. They will develop and implement solutions.
No direct reports. Manage cross-functional teams. Foster a technology-driven and consultative selling approach
Help customers work with our organization when commercial and technical problems arise.
Develop account forecasts. Ensure account strategies.are executed.
Requirements
Min 6 years sales experience.
Thorough understanding of the Canadian telecommunication industry.
Proven ability to grow existing accounts and develop new accounts.
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to articulate needs and act decisively.
Strong presentation and reporting skills
Technical aptitude is preferred
Must live in Toronto area.
Must be able to qualify for US and Canadian Employment.
Overnight Travel: 50%
Education
Bachelors Degree:
Engineering, Business, Marketing or related degree
– or extensive industry experience
Copy of any relevant certificate or degree may be required
