Thanks for checking out my thoughts

If you re-read my posts, it may illuminate what I was suggesting.

when I wrote "blogs are NOT important" is because I believe the real focus is on the conversation that occurs --blogs are just a tool. (the real value is the convo)

Secondly, Blogging can be a career enhancement but it's not required to get a raise.

Thanks again, and I look forward to your thoughts.

Hi Jerry,

While your title says that blogs are not essential you do think that they are pretty damn useful which is something different than the title suggested.

Also, I notice that you get a few good comments but most business blogs don't. So, I don't see their primary value in the discussion that follows.

(And even the number of comments on your blog don't compare with the political blogs. Or blogs on knitting and barbecue!)

Best Wishes,

Thanks Canadian!

I'm pretty involved in business blogging space, and spend a lot of my time thinking, speaking, discussing, and podcasting about it.

You're right, my title could have been a bit more succint, but I think we've cleared that up!

I do appreciate your thoughtful comments, and thanks for taking the time to swing by!

best!
