Two Martini Tuesday

Tml_2"Come out with new friends for a drink or two in the afternoon......"

From Upcoming.org via iPioneer.

And, EmployerJobs.com reports that:

"Lunchtime drinking is making a comeback in the workplace as..... office workers are going for a lunchtime drink at least three times a week.

"Of those who do drink, nearly 60 per cent said they would have more than two drinks.

"The findings pointed to a resurgence in office socialising..... a sign of a shift in emphasis on the work-life balance.

Yes! I think that socializing and partying-- as long as you're working hard at work--can be an extremely valuable tool in making connections and, more importantly, making work seem like a fun place to hang. I'd rather chill out at a cool Web 2.0 party than anywhere else, because I know that my musings about blogs, search, etc. will be understood. And booze helps lubricate everything =)
