People who live in glass houses don't get jobs
Have you been abusing your personal brand on outrageous blogs? Then, watch out.
Because Ms Employer might not like that.
The Exceler8ion Blog takes you deep into the battle between the myspace you and the career you.
(Thank goodness, we don't live in Afghanistan or some other medieval country where they don't want people to be free).
PS: Is the google-your-dirty laundry scare overblown? Do I care if you write a spanking blog? Probably not. But, if Google reveals that you were once a fan of certain sites and you're now up for a public service job, it could be a liability.

You have to obey the Joseph P. Kennedy dictum: "Never write anything down that you wouldn't want published on the front page of The New York Times".
That's good advice whether you blog or not.

Didn't he invite his mistress, Gloria Swanson, to the Kennedy home as a guest? Well, even if he didn't live by his own maxims that doesn't prove them wrong. I think the Genuity case put a scare into most people who heard about it worldover.

Oh I'm sure he invited her to Hyannisport all right -- but were those invitations telephoned or written? And if written, addressed to her husband (the Marquis de la Falaise) and herself?
I am guessing he probably had some wind of the Marquis' schedule, and just happened to extend the invitation to both for occasions where, unfortunately the Marquis was occupied, but Gloria was not.
