CARLY TEACHES ME A WORD.
Here's a scene earlier in Fiorina's career. She's working within the network systems side of the vast AT&T empire and she has booked an overseas meeting with a guy named Jack Heck who runs the international operations for the division. What Fiorina encounters is a "ranting and raving" Heck who complains that she's wasting his time and his employees' time too.
In Fiorina's account she slams her hand down on the conference table and says this: "Jack, I am not stupid. I am not evil. I do not get up every day trying to f--- up your business. I am trying to do my job. And I am sick and f---ing tired of being yelled at by you and grinf---ed by your people."
Jennifer Wells, Toronto Star
I'd never heard the word "grinfucked" before but I see it's in the Urban Dictionary.
1. grinfucked: When you are "fucked", or taken advantage of, by a lie told from a grinning mouth. The smiling used car salesman using lies, convinces a customer to buy a car that breaks down a week later. The customer was grinfucked. tags: grin fucked lie cheat smile. Wow. I am so going to have to remember that word and find ways to work it into conversation.

I always did like that Carly girl - now I knows why.

I'm surprised to have not heard this one before but it's a keeper (especially for corporate life). I plan to use it in any inappropriate venue I can find. Carly had a pretty good interview on Charlie Rose the other night that you might want to check out if you get a chance.

Now I will always have to wonder....

Good word, it's new to me too. Ditto on Tiffany's comment.

Does this mean that used car salespeople are sometimes less than totally candid? Wow. I might need to start questioning the truthfulness of everyone that I encounter, except of course politicans and attorneys. I trust all of them all of the time. :)
