Yelling At Workers Creates Perfection

It's just a form of encouragement.

Susur Lee, a famous Toronto chef, doesn't yell at his employees. He just stands quietly beside his manager, Greg Ali, while he does the dirty work. Both claim that

yelling is "part of the culture" of the restaurant industry, and that if Ali screams louder, it's because standards are that much higher. "Good things take time and we need hard work in order to achieve this." Ali also says yelling is an everyday restaurant occurrence, but it isn't personal or racist.

Sacrifice Shows You Care

For your team

But there's a limit Happiness Blog. You can't do so much for someone else that you feel neglected and unhappy.

Sounds like sacrifice is a condiment in the meal of life. Not the main course or even a side dish. A more direct pursuit of happiness is always number one. Except if you're a mom.

A Melbourne GP refused high-level chemotherapy, ultimately sacrificing her life to save her unborn daughter. ... Dr Ellice Hammond, 37 ... was diagnosed in the 22nd week of pregnancy and refused high-level chemotherapy that could have saved her but might have killed Mia, whose induced birth took place on August 20.

PS: When someone makes a little sacrifice for you, make sure to thank him. As always, reciprocity counts.
