Open-Book Management
A revolution in productivity would occur if companies asked employees to:
1. Look for projects that could help the business
2. Build a business case for their ideas
3. Take responsibility for the implementation (including its budget)
4. Have a financial stake in the bottom-line.
In order to understand how their projects might affect the business the employees would have to have a complete financial picture of the company.

It's just the info many companies ignore, but they badly need. Even if they spared 5% activity to such promoting, the results would be astunding.
