There are a lot of good writers online but in my 6 years of blogging I've only seen two real artists. One is Colin Kingsbury of HRMDirect and the other is Penelope Trunk.
I read her everyday for about a year and that's when it's dangerous to come on my show because if I like you I know where you goofed up.
So, for me, the Brazen Careerist episode had everything. The guest was funny. I had a chance to air all my grievances and I think it was informative.
Not that it had any impact on anyone. No one's celebrating me as a great Gen Y expert. Lots of people tell me they can't stand that episode.
There were some other good episodes too.
THE MOST INFORMATIVE SHOW OF 2009 had to be Craig Fisher and crew talking about how to search for candidates on Twitter. I turned it into a 20 minute audio that has a ton of free information. If you haven't listened to it you should.
THE MOST GIFTED INTERVIEWEE this year was probably JT O'Donnell. She's very quick and she can handle anything that comes at her with a light touch. Lots of people found her second appearance to be their favourite show.
THE ODDEST SHOW might have been Mike Johnson from Avature. He came on at his own request and then refused to talk.
Last year it was CincyRecruiter. She had a great show and really surprised me and, Mike, this year that honour is yours.
