A lost generation of unemployed youth is emerging from the global economic crisis.
The jobless rate for Americans aged 16-19 has jumped to 26%, the worst job market in 60 years.
This is creating a generation that doesn’t know what work is like because they have never held a real job.

It's a scary thought. We may end up with an entire generation filled with those with a very poor work ethic. I have personally seen a decline in those (not just Gen Y) that seem to have difficulty buckling down when the going gets tough. Will be interesting to see how this progresses.
