Excited by the new internet marketing techniques, people want to try every one of them. But the result of the indiscriminate combination of online marketing techniques is dismal.
Instead: Match the business to the appropriate techniques. And be prepared to change the business from top to bottom to adapt to the net.
What does that mean?
One reader said it means you have to operate with transparency. Another said you have to be more collaborative and use technology to overcome the barriers of distance and time. And another says that you have to use your website fully and that changes the business.
And how does it relate to recruiting? I don't know.
